I took a chance and ordered online without testing it first. The color is nice, not too overwhelming. The pigment is light and there is a soft silvery shimmer. The powder goes on smoothly. Not sure if I would re-order, would've preferred a warmer, lesser shimmer.
I really wish they were not discontuing this color, it works on so many skin types and I can wear it year round if I am tan or pale, summer/winter. Golden gate is the best color for all skin types.
I purchased this because I didn't have a peach colored blush. I typically wear pinks. I used Bare Minerals for a number of years but moved away from it a number of years ago. I just started using it again recently. I'd forgotten how smoothly this product blends out. It's a very subtle, soft peach color so it's easy to wear without looking overdone. It's nice to have something to offset all the pink blush I have. Plus it will last me forever!
