The wedding is a Friday evening in October. I tried on 20 dresses and did not want to look old and matronly. Kept going back to this dress. It is gorgeous on! There are 4 layers so alterations to shorten as it is long will be pricey if you don't have a Nordstrom card. I wear either a 12 or 14 depending on style and bought the 12. With a spanx and hopefully losing a few more pounds it will be perfect.

This dress is very pretty. It is not the right dress for me, however I do like the fit of the dress. I purchased it as a possible wedding gown. It is a beautiful dress for a more low key wedding. NOrdstrom is great to deal with. They will ship it and no hassle returns!

The weight was perfect and hangs nicely with a little movement, the rosettes weren't over the top too large, it makes even a woman in her 30's feel like Cinderella without too much effort/bling. The cluster embellishment isn't too flashy which gives it an elegant look versus cheap. I'm also very tall (6') and with heels, it brushed the ground the way a gown should....which is a rare find for us amazons! For shorter gals, it's still very elongating due to the true waist/might even call it an empire....you're just going to have to get it hemmed. Love love love

I'm looking for a second dress to wear at my wedding. I chose this dress b/c it's a good price but they didn't have my size in Ivory. I ordered the black one thinking I could wear it, but it looked like I was going to a funeral. The dress looks expensive and it also has a supporting bra strap inside.
