This gown is elegant and timeless. From the moment I tried it on, I knew this was the dress I wanted to get married in. I was seeking something that was a classic silhouette, not too big or heavy, that flattered my petite build and that would last through an outdoor June wedding. This fit all of my criteria. Not only was this dress exactly what I was looking for, but it held strong during a day of high emotions, dancing, eating, and even a canoe ride!
Yes, the gown does come VERY long. As someone who is 5'2", I knew and accepted that whatever gown I chose, it would have to be altered (plus I wanted my wedding gown to fit like a glove). What we ended up doing was have my seamstress take some of the excess rosette material from the skirt and create the straps for my gown. It came out beautifully and was such a fantastic decision as I'm not one for strapless to begin with.
The reason I didn't give this gown 5 stars was because I did feel the embellishment on the front seemed a bit cheap. I ended up removing this from my gown. I also probably would have opted to add a real sash to the gown if I had given it any more thought.
Overall, this was a beautiful and perfect gown for my summer outdoor, and more casual wedding. At the end of the day, I was sad to take it off.

I bought this for a formal event and got so many compliments! Love the texture of the skirt as well. I'm typically a size 10 and this fit true to size. However i'm 5'9 and this dress was REALLY LONG. I ended up wearing 4 inch heels with the gown, but if you are on the shorter size I would buy a petite side or expect to get it hemmed.
Tons of compliments though and the dress is great for hiding your tummy and hips!!

I highly recommend this dress. I needed a long dress for my brother's wedding. To accentuate my "pear shape" body I was looking for a "A" line dress. This dress was perfect! It is not only beautiful, elegant, but comfortable and affordable. It looks more expensive than the actual price. You can wear as strapless dress or with a thin strap. I wore with a the thin strap so I can dance without worrying!. I also have 5 other dresses from Adrianna Papell collections, really looks good on my "pear shape body"

I'm pretty small, but this dress runs so big. I typically wear a size 2 or size 4, so I ordered the 2 in this but the top part is about three inches loose in the bust/waist. It's also about a foot too long for me, even with high heels on. Additionally.....the dress smelled TERRIBLE when I opened the box it was shipped in. I'm not sure why, but maybe the material sitting in the plastic bag it was shipped in made it funky or something. Ugh. I want this for my wedding, despite the smell it's absolutely gorgeous, so I will have to suck it up and pay to have it dry cleaned so it doesn't smell like fish, and I'll have to pay for the alterations. Just glad it's only $238 because the alterations from Nordstrom cost more than the dress!
