I loved the look of this dress and purchased it to wear to a fundraiser. It was much too long but that was expected. It fit perfectly besides the length and was beautiful. Sadly I didn't wear it around the house before the event. The upper edge of the bust rolled over even with the straps on. I'm hoping a seamstress might be able to fix it so I can wear it again. I couldn't return it because I had it hemmed. I would have sent it back if I could have.I was bummed.
I bought this gown as a bridesmaid's dress for my friends wedding, and it made me feel very beautiful. I am 5'8" and I decides not to alter it (I wore it with 3 inch heels and the length was perfect). I also styled it with a Kate Spade statement necklace. I love it so much that I am already planning on wearing it to the NYE crystal ball party! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful classy dress that will never go out of style!
I live in Perth, Australia and have a black tie wedding to go to and was looking for a dress that would stand out and have that 'old world glamour' but within a budget.This is THE dress. 100%. Wearing this dress makes me feel fabulous. The rosette fabric is beautiful and has enough fullness for that 'ball gown' look and the detail on the bodice is lovely. I am 5'8 and found the dress just a little too long with heels but I would rather be able to adjust it by taking it up then having it look too short, so no issues about the length. I am thinking of using some of the cut off fabric for a headpiece for a vintage look. It has a built in bra which is perfect and also boning to hold the dress up so that you feel very secure. I found the sizing to be true-to-size. I was very nervous about ordering a size but honestly, just go by the sizing chart as it is accurate. Being an international customer I found the Customer Service team on Live Chat were fantastic in assisting with sizing, shipping and any dress questions I had. Would I recommend this dress to you? in a heartbeat!
