It Runs, and extremely hard to wash off

Like other people, I really wanted to love this. I wear trish mcevoy eye products exclusively so I thought this would be fun to try and wear and followed the video. Unfortunately, after an hour of awesome, it begins to run. Smears all over and for the first time in my life had raccoon eyes as if I I applied it to my under eyes. It is like tar to get off and also like another person said, gets in our contacts and causes blur. I would like the same easy application but that does not run because the color is beautifully pigmented…. but sorry, this is a bust. A mess.
I desperately wanted to love this - just squish it between the lashes and voila, an instant pop of the eyes with a natural look! Sadly, after a few hours I found most of it had traveled to my lower lid, and was basically defeating the purpose of wearing undereye concealer. Le sigh.
I loved the little sparkles in this eyeliner but its gel texture made it hard to control and the tip would never stay sharp..so wasted product. The biggest problem was it made my eyes water and burn. I put on another retractable eyeliner that was in black and my eyes went back to feeling and acting normal again.

Cannot figure out why so many people like this. Maybe it is my technique but it flakes like crazy. I have tried it more than once. Some of the reviews are from 2012. Maybe the formula changed.
