Ivanka Trump's shoe line is brilliantly styled: it's on trend, a great price, and she offers enough really stylish mid-height heels for middle-aged women like me who want the look of a sexy stiletto but can't deal with 3" and 4" heels anymore. Her sizing is odd, though. I normally take an 8-1/2 medium. Occasionally an 8, occasionally a 9, but always a medium. The 8-1/2 fit strangely--I kept sliding forward which made it feel too small, and it was the salesman at my local Nordstrom who suggested I try a 9 narrow. I never would have thought of that, but he was right. I will have to stretch these just a bit but it's a better fit. I suggest trying a variety of sizes in this brand.
I bought this shoe a year ago and love it. I bought this pair because I couldn't live without them after my dog ate them. I recommend them to everyone. Great look great heel height great fit. Buy every color if you can.
This shoe took a 2-3 days of wear time before it got comfy. I tried a size 8.5 at the store and it was too loose from the back. So - i ordered a 8 online and it felt too small at first. After 2-3 days of wear, it finally feels comfortable enough to wear without thought. In the future, I would probably purchase a 8.5 and probably use shoe inserts to compensate for the size gap.
