I have this belt in 3 colors now and I love it! It's designed to be too long so you're supposed to tie it. Good value - well finished.

Yes, it is long; so, tie it. I have gotten a million compliments on my woven belt. Looks great w/jeans or dress pants and a cardi.

This belt is very long. I bought the small size to substitute into an adorable Jessica Simpson sun dress that had a brown braid belt originally. This belt is a bit flimsy and extremely long so once you get it through the hook, you have tons of belt left and just hanging. You literally have to tie it like this picture for it to work on a dress. So if you get it, and are not wearing it with pants with belt hoops, you will have to tie it like this photo.
