I was a little concerned with ordering these online as everyone said they stretch out quite a bit. But I went for it anyways and they worked out so well. My Mom yelled at me for bringing brand new shoes on our 2 week trip to Greece without breaking them in first. These shoes were amazing for walking around all day and site seeing. They didn't bother my feet at all and I was the only one without sore feet at the end of our trip. I would highly recommend these shoes. I normally wear and 8 1/2 and that's what I ordered and mine haven't stretched at all. My heel does not slip out of the back. If they do stretch you could just put some mole skin on the heel to add some padding.

Proscomfortable
This is my first pair of TOMS in a 5.5. :) (With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One.) If they made more 5.5's I would buy more colors! *hint hint* ;)
