I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. For years he swore he would never wear a watch, but once he put it on he was convinced! He wears it for every occasion, from daily wear to dinner dates. After several months it is still in perfect condition.

Good looking watch, but leather band isn't durable

Proslooks sharp, cheap leather
I already own a Silver Sentry with a matching stainless band and love it. I decided to go with this black model for a different color scheme from my previous positive experience.
Be aware that the main picture shows a leather band with stitching and the others show a different type of leather band without. The watch is great, but the leather band without stitching is extremely delicate and prone to delaminating and peeling. I am speaking from experience that the band without stitching is not of any acceptable quality.l and would recommend another style of leather band.
I called Nixon to see if I could pay them for a better band or if there is anything they could do and they gave me no option to switch out the leather band to one of better quality. I have since returned the item through Nordstrom.
