I like the style,of the Allen Edmonds shoe and the La Salle oxford is very tasteful and timeless in design. A comfortable yet durable dress shoe which I anticipate wearing many years. Would like to see it in cordovan also.
My husband waited for the mid-year sale so they turned out to be a great bargain. Shoe sizing is a bit different. My husband typically wears a 9 1/2 so that is what we ordered. They were too tight so we returned and ordered a 9 1/2 E (wider width) and they were wide enough but his foot slipped. We returned this second pair and ordered a 9 E (wider width) and they are perfect. Nordstrom's is great with free shipping and hassle free return policy which made the process easier.
