I really like this product. I purchased clarifying lotion 2 but I should I bought clarifying lotion 1. CL2 smells a little strong of alcohol but overall is a pleasant product that cleanses well and feels nice as it's drying.
The BEST BEST BEST, most essential element of a beauty routine. The salesperson at Clinique has told me that they call this "the difference maker" and it is true. This improves my skin tone, makes it feel softer and smoother, clears my skin and brightens everything overall on my 40 year old face. The price point can't be beat and I love that Clinique uses good ingredients.
I have rosacea so exfoliants are not my friend. However, I needed something to slough off the dead skin so that my makeup would apply smoothly. This stuff works wonders. I use this day and night, does not irritate my skin, does not feel tight afterward. I am so glad that this was recommended to me. This does not contain alcohol (or minimal) so it's not drying.
Very good at softening and keeping skin clear after basic cleansing. Has minimal alcohol content and does not irritate my skin even during very cold, drying weather.
