The color match is very good but the product itself is not. You basically have to warm the concealers up with your finger to get any color. I was excited about the color match so I ignored this con. Well I tried to set it with powder and setting spray and it did not set AT ALL! I felt it sitting on my face all day and I only used it to cover up a few dark spots and undereyes. I used a paper towel to blot and was surprised at how much it didn’t set. This is not worth the price. Maybe if you have VERY dry skin it will work. Such a bummer because the color was a perfect match.
Wow, I can not tell you how many different under eye products that I have tried. This is by far the best. It melts in and the coverage is not cake ey. I also have discovered that the lighter color is great as an under brow highlighter. Will purchase again and again
I've heard people rave about this concealer. I am used to the concealer by Cle De Peau, which is more than twice the cost of this so it was worth trying. It is convenient to be able to mix the colors to get the tone just right. I have light skin with cool undertone and and chose level 3. I think it would also work for someone with neutral undertone as well. It is best for uneven skin tone or scarring; I prefer liquid concealer under the eyes. I think concealers blend best when warmed on the back of your hand, so use a small concealer brush and mix...and then apply where needed.
Concealers are so subjective. Over the decades, I’d say I may have tried hundreds! For me, the creamier ones eventually migrate into the crevices (wrinkles!) and actually make them more obvious. This particular concealer is dryer and more opaque than typical. On me, that means it stays in place all day. If you like a more moist look, doesn’t hurt to use eye cream as a base before applying! I know it’s good for major concealment of scars, discoloration and the more challenging situations, but a very small amount, used as a veil of coverage, hides dark circles and redness just enough, and lasts until time to remove it at the end of the day.
