I wear an 8.5 but I always get a 1/2 size down. Yes they will feel like they just fit initially but once the fur acclimates to your foot they stretch out a tad.

I live in Chicago and these boots are awesome in this weather!!!! They fit true to size and very comfortable. I bought them for my 11 year old daughter and with us wearing the same size I tried them on and they fit perfect.
