I have owned 2 pairs of Finn Comfort Gomera sandals. The first pair lasted 3 summers and I was very satisfied. The second pair that I purchased last summer barely lasted through the summer before the stitching came undone in 3 places where the back strap is sewn to the sole so that the insole needed to keep the strap in place (both sides of one shoe and one side of the other). Even worse was that the stitching on the upper started to tear so that I had threads hanging in loops at the top. They started to look very shabby much too fast and I can't wear them this summer unless I pay to have them re-sewn. I am disappointed since the fit is very comfortable for my foot but I just can't justify spending nearly $300 for such poor quality.

The shoe is very comfortable. The picture shown in this questionnaire is not the shoe I ordered and received, but perhaps is similar.

Have worn these outside and am hesitant to return. They are heavy and the front edge cuts the toes. Obviously, very uncomfortable shoes. The only hope is that the leather will stretch.
This is actually my mom's second Finn Comfort shoes. She loves wearing this everywhere, even used the first one on her pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This is a lighter and more dressy version. She got good compliments from friends.
