I'm a size 14/16 (closer to a 16 right now) and this silk tank looks gorgeous. I ordered a large. It skims the body, and is very slimming. If you don't want to show your arms you can layer a cardie over it and it looks smashing. It's silky and light, but not transparent, and it adds no bulk. I will wear it with Eileen pants on a Mediterranean cruise in May. Can't wait! With a statement necklace and platform sandals it's elegant. With slip on sandals it's casual. Great for a long plane trip with a sweater over it. Very expensive, but one of those perfect pieces that you won't ever get rid of, until it's so lifeless you have to!
I just ordered another one of these. I wear it under all my sweaters so that it peeks out underneath and makes the perfect balance for leggings. I cannot figure out how I lived for 43 years without this item. I'm a big Eileen Fisher fan, but this piece is just WONDERFUL....beyond my expectations for stretching my wardrobe and making me look and feel fabulous!

This is one of those wonderful basics you want to order in multiples. Lovely over leggings -- either on its own, or layered under a jacket, sweater or colorful stole. I love this piece!
