I love the Toms shoes in the crochet! I think they are more beautiful and stylish than the original Toms, and still very comfortable. I work as a teaching assistant with pre-k children, and I'm on my feet the whole day. When I get home my feet are not aching, and I still managed to look good! I have these in both colors. For reference, I am a size 6, but I wear these in size 5.5. If they seem a little tight when you first get them, don't worry about it. They stretch out.
I LOVE toms because they are so comfortable and great shoes for walking around campus. The crochet ones are especially comfy because they allow your feet to breathe while still being covered. If the shoes ever get smelly they are easy to clean in a wash cycle with detergent and fabric softener but let them air dry.
Excellent summer shoe: looks great with casual skirts and dresses, jeans and shorts. I usually can't wear flats, but these are comfortable and have just enough support to wear all day.
this is actually the second pair of crochet toms ive owned. i loved the last pair so much i literally wore them out. So when I bought the second pair 2 years later I was expecting a similar experience. Except now Im getting blisters and cuts from a shoe that should've been exactly the same. im hoping I just need to give them some time to break them in, but overall Im disappointed especially given my previous good experience. They are still super cute though. Order half a size down from your normal shoe size.
