Worried the color would be too dark, almost black, but it's a true navy blue & the beading & sequins give it such a reflective color burst. This dress is a celebration in itself and even more beautiful in person! Drapes beautifully. Short as I am, still didn't need alterations, though I could have hemmed to right at my knee if I had chosen. Most dresses that hit me at the top of my calf make me look shorter & heavier than I already am, but not this dress. If I had to nitpick one thing, I would make the sleeves a little longer, just above the elbow. The reason? The beading itches the inside of my arm, but not enough to make me not be in love with this gorgeous dress. Will be wearing it in April for my son's wedding and for once I am looking forward to wearing a dress and heels! Just thrilled with it!

This dress is very pretty, comfortable and true to size. However, as I saw in another review, the top piece of the dress is very uneven and the dress cannot be worn as such. Someone did a horrible job at hemming this portion of the dress and quality control did not catch that.
