It's a lovely dress for celebration, however I felt that it was too formal for the cocktail event I was attending.

Additionally, it really did seem to be a dress much more designed for a Mother of the Bride.

The dress is weighty and is a shade deeper than shown on the website.

I wouldn't recommend it to a friend on the basis that it a bit 'older' than the style I was looking for. It has been returned.
