I'd been looking for months for a formal dress to wear at my son's wedding. This dress was perfect. The length was spot on, swept the floor... and I am tall 5'9", so this thrilled me. The fabric was beautiful. The bodice was on the heavier side with sparkles that do not itch. The skirt, which was attached, was layers of flowing chiffon... Pictures online do not do it justice. The sleeves were long enough to hide my upper arms. The neckline was a feminine sweetheart style without being a simple or a deep V. The cut of the dress was flattering and slimming. I had almost resigned myself to having to wear a boxy, frumpy dress with a jacket, as that is the typical style for plus size formal wear, it seems. I am thrilled and couldnt be happier!
This dress made me look too old. It was a bit frumpy.

Proselegant, comfortable
This dress far exceeded my expectations. I received it sooner than expected and the fit was perfect and so comfortable. The bead work was elegant and tasteful, and did not look cheap or garish, as was my fear. It was exactly what I expected that the mother of the groom should wear to her son's wedding. Unfortunately, the wedding was deemed to be a more casual affair, and I had to return the dress because it was too formal. This was a difficult decision for me because I simply loved the dress, but I doubted that a formal event will ever come up for which it would be suitable. I was concerned about the hassle that returning it would involve. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. A return label was enclosed with the dress when I received it and I only had to affix it to the original box and send it off. I had my refund in less than a week. Thank you Nordstrom, for such wonderful service. This store will be my go-to site when I am next looking to purchase clothing on-line.

I love this dress. It fits beautifully and drapes extremely nicely. It is just the right length for me. I am about 5'8" and it comes to my ankles. Long enough to be elegant, not so long you or others will trip over it.
The beads are smoother and do not irritate my skin as the other dress I tried, does. I like the sleeve-length and the way the top part of the blouse angles across the hips, which isn't really clear in the photos of the dress. It is higher on the left (about four inches below the waist) and then angles down to the right (about seven inches below the waist). Nice look, I think.
I am wearing this to my son's late afternoon wedding, I think. I do not want to be the only one in a full-length gown, but this is a formal military wedding, so I believe the length will be fine.
