The sash on this dress should be attached to the dress so you don't have to constantly adjust it on the child and it would be helpful to have the "bow" already created. Anyone who has to keep running after a toddler to tie the bow all the time gets worn out. Dress needs something to make it "pop". Very bland dress. Material nothing to speak of either. My tailor (had to take it in to be altered for both the toddler and the Big Girl one as well) said he thought the dress was cheap looking considering what I paid for them.

I purchased two of these dresses for my identical twin granddaughters - one with a pink sash, the other with a yellow. They are suitable for Holy Communion or as a flower girl for a wedding. They are a bit long, so if you are on the shorter side for an 8 year old, the dress may overwhelm the child. The crinoline makes the skirt a bit poofy, but not unattractive. All in all, the dress is lovely and looks and fits very much like it appears in the photo.

perfect for her communion. Since she is in growing spurt she has small belly with petite figure so ordered one size up to give her enough breathing space, and length may be longer than designed but looks good on her as if it is a full dress. She also loves full skirt that gives sense of formal princess dress. Price is reasonable for the quality.
