Decent hand cream
PostedJune 24, 2016
This is a decent hand cream. I like it for its handy size (1oz) which I can carry on me all the time. I also like it that it is fragrance free. I have tried better hand creams, so this doesn't make it on my favourite list.

My favorite hands down!

Proslong-lasting, effective, non-greasy, absorbs well
I started using this hand and cuticle cream last winter and I loved it!
I never experienced a hangnail, dry, chapped or splitting skin. It absorbs nicely and without any greasy feeling. I can't really appreciate much of a scent, which is fine for me as I prefer it that way. My only dislike is the $20 price tag for a 4 ounces of product.
Last summer I switched to AVEDA Hand Relief which seemed like the perfect weight for the warmer months, but again is a bit costly at $24 for 4 ounces and is more readily available.
I continued using the AVEDA product this winter and my hands are suffering for it. They are chapped, extremely dry, splitting at the finger tips and multiple hangnails. So I went back to searching for the Philosophy's Hands of Hope hand and cuticle cream. Now all those winter skin issues are clearing up and feeling better protected from the harsh, cold winter weather.
So my initial pause at the price of both products has taught me that you get what you pay for.I will not switch again because of the inconvenience of finding the Hope for Hands product. You definitely get what you pay for and it is evident in this case as well.
Give this a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Flakes off your hands...
PostedJanuary 26, 2016
When I initially put it on it felt great, but then I noticed it kind of pills up on your hands and flakes off your hands. It was very strange and I returned it immediately. To make sure it wasn't just my skin, I had my friend try it and it did the same thing to her. Disappointing because I love all things Philosophy.

Best ever handcream
PostedDecember 24, 2015
Proslong-lasting, effective
This is the best handcream I have ever used. Makes my old hands look younger. My thumbs usually crack in the winter from dryness. Since using Hands of Hope that hasn't happened this winter.
