Prosmessy, overrated, awful
I HATE this product. I decided to give it and the Pearl version a try after reading all the rave reviews about them. You know, the ones that say it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the way your eyeshadow looks, how it BRIGHTENS YOUR WHOLE FACE and REALLY MAKES YOUR EYES POP? Yeah, not so much. My eyeshadow with the primer on underneath is exactly the same color and sheen as my eyeshadow without it.
Does it work as a primer? Yeah, sure. It's a pain in the butt to apply, and good luck getting it to go on evenly, but once you've finished smearing it onto your eyelids (with your FINGER) your eyeshadow will definitely stick to it. It'll stick so well you can forget about BLENDING entirely.
If you're looking for a difficult-to-apply primer that will give you blotchy-looking, unblendable eyeshadow that doesn't look any brighter or sparklier but will stay in place for hours, LOOK NO FURTHER. If not, don't waste your time or money on this one.

This lovely golden primer shadow is a wonderful pick-me-up for those days you don't get quite enough sleep. The shimmery pigment reflects light and really brightens up your whole look. Use it from lash to brow, then layer another shadow over your lid and this becomes primer and brow highlight all in one.

Prosadequate but disappointing
Okay so I am a recent convert to bare minerals and I must say I've Had my eyes on bare minerals since my early teen years the first time I saw an infomercial. As I grew older I never could find that foundation that was just perfect. Finally this year I bought myself a starter kit for my 22nd birthday and loved it immediately! My only complaint, my skin is on the dry side so sometimes the powder doesn't always feel 100 percent smooth after it's been applied, but it looks heavenly and my husband thinks it makes me look even more gorgeous ;-)
I have a few issues with this eyelid primer though. 1st off this pearl eyelid primer leans more towards the cool end of the color spectrum which doesn't go as well with my light Neutral-Warm complexion as I thought it would. If you have Cool skin, this color will look heavenly on you, but is you have a warm complexion I don't recommend this product at all. As for my fellow neutral girls, you may or may not want to get it depending on what clothing/ make up colors you like to wear on a regular basis.
2nd of all, the blending process is tricky so if you don't have the patience to try to figure out how to spread the product properly, then don't bother because all it will do is slow down your morning beauty regiment and give you a headache before you even have your 1st cup of coffee. The reason I have problems with the primer is because I have dry skin so the product dries extremely quickly on my skin. If you have combination to oily skin you may have better luck than I did.
Lastly, the shimmer is beautiful, but it clings to your skin like a virus. The first couple of times I applied this primer, my fingers got bathed in glitter. If nothing else, that is a testament to the incredible staying power of the makeup, but unless you are going out for a night on the town with your girlfriend's, I doubt that you are gonna want that glitter all over your hands. It takes FOREVER to scrub out! I literally washed it twice with an exfoliating hand soap, and I didn't even get most of it out until I washed it a third time!!
Over all the product is adequate and once you finally spread it, it attracts eyeshadow like a magnet including the loose powder shadow and it can be worn with other quality eyeshadows that are from other brands. It is extremely Durable. I'm not gonna lie, this primer definitely has it's undeniable benefits, but for me personally there aren't quite enough so I will probably be taking it back this upcoming week.

This is my favorite BE primer. When it applied, it brightens the eye lid with a light golden sheen. Prevents creasing, smuding, and lasts all day when worn alone as an eyeshadow. When I'm pressed for time and needing a quick, "natural" type look, I apply the Brightening Eyelid Primer with Bronze eyeliner, add a little mascara and I'm out the door. I would recommend applying this with your fingertip. I've tried applying with a brush and it didn't work out. The primer stuck to the brush and didn't spread evenly over my eyelid. This is a squeeze tube, so be gentle...a little goes a long way.
