Beautiful color by itself! Lightweight, keeps eyeshadow like new for several hours. It has yet to disappoint me.

I originally received the prime time brightening eyelid primer in one of the gift sets that came out for Christmas last year. I loved it so much that I ordered another one. It's great as a base to wear under an eye shadow as well as by itself. When wearing by itself, it adds a little brightness to your eyes, but still has natural look. A little goes a long way!

i almost can't believe i'm saying this, but there's just too much glitter in this for me. i prefer the regular eye primer, or even the pearl. this has a lot of gold glitter in it.

I love using this product! It works well as a base to my other eyecolors, even gives the matte ones a little sparkle :) My eyecolors didn't really smudge around a lot before, but I definitely notice that they remain more vibrant throughout the workday. If you have a smudging eyeliner issue, this helps the eyeliner stay in place more as well. I really like how I can use it alone too. On my tan skin, it has a translucent gold finish with a slight sheen and some sparkle.
The tube is small, but you only need a teeny tiny bit for application. Think less than a drop. I will normally squeeze the tube very gently until I barely see the product come out of the tube, then I use my finger to pick it up and place a few dots on my upper eyelids and use my finger to smooth it out. I let it dry for maybe 30 seconds to a minute before applying my liner and shadow. It is very lightweight and smooth, so I don't even notice when I'm wearing it. And it doesn't make your eyelid stick to your brow bone when you blink, like those glitter gels girls would apply in middle/high school.
I gave it 5 hearts because I love this product so much more than I thought I would, but I do not really notice any "brightening" effects unless that advertisement is more so for the vibrancy it provides to the eyecolors. Maybe it is more "brightening" on lighter skin tones? Either way, I'm definitely happy with it and will reorder.
