I love this essence! I apply 7-10 drops into my palm then pat it all over my face and neck. I've only been applying it in the morning, since I don't want anything to interfere with my prescription tretinoin at night. It is extremely moisturizing and the perfect base for primer then foundation. It doesn't break me out. The stinky, valerian scent goes away once it has soaked into the skin. I've noticed decreased redness and moisturized skin without the usual tackiness of a lotion. I wouldn't say this is miracle product or essential, since the benefits match any good moisturizing product. However, if you have the extra cash it's definitely worth adding to your beauty routine plus I think the bottle will last at least 4 months even with daily use.
I have dry patches on my lower cheeks that get red really easily and this is the only thing that I've found that seems to help with it. I definitely do notice that my skin looks plumper when using this. This does not replace lotion nor does it allow you to get away with using a lesser lotion, especially in Fall/Winter months. I will probably continue using this for a while but it does suck how expensive it is. It does last a while though.
