The watch maintains classic Movado look while looking very modern and 'in'. However due to the large size of the dial, the watch leaves a gap between top of the wrist and the watch itself. It may be uncomfortable for people with small wrists.
Even with the aggressive pricing, the watch's quality is more in line with the main Movado vs their ESQ.

I bought this watch in March of 2011. I am male and own 2 other movado pieces, including the sapphire blue faced classic museum and a gold and silver band with museum dial. I love the BOLD so much more than those two watches. Its very modern and very fun. The watch is sizeable and is definately a gentlemans watch as it might be a little big on a lady.
The metallic gold looks very nice against the black backdrop of this watch. The undeside closure is also metallic gold. Its the only one in the series that has the gold enclosure compared to the other ones that do not. The underside of the strap is an awesome purple color. This watch screams party and pure class.
My friends have all glowed about it. It carries the movado class and the urban fun that I was looking for. No complaints.
