Ok, so I never had a pair of Korke-Ease back in 'the day' like many reviewers of this brand. However, I bought these sandals last spring at the Bellevue Nordstrom as soon as I saw them. The year before this brand sold out with in a few weeks in store. I wore them all summer long. The cork straps were a little stiff but did soften up after a few wears. I am longing to wear them again as soon as it warms up.
I bought mine about a year ago and can't wear them because they are so uncomfortable. The edges of the leather dig into your foot as you wear this shoe. I didn't realize until i wore them for awhile. You may not feel it right away, i didn't and now it's too late to return them. I think the problem is the sides of all the straps are rough and not smooth enough. I will see if a shoe repair can do something for these shoes. Other than that, these are cute and fit like other Kork-Ease.
