unfortunately I couldn't keep them because they came up slightly too high on my leg. I measured the shaft against my legs before ordering (I'm 5'1) and even though I knew it was going to come up high I still bought them because they looked so beautiful on Julia Engel's blog (gal meets glam). I had to return because I'm just too short for these boots, but if you're 5'3 and up I think these boots are GORGEOUS!

Prosfabulous frye
LOVE these boots! Fit true to size, no break-in required. Color (whiskey) beautiful. Not over the knee, but comfortable fit up to the knee (my 5'5 height, average leg length). Great heel, classic riding look. Easy on/off w/o any zipper. Buckles on back of boot are for show only, even though appears you could tighten boot. Also like the toe shape. (I LIVE in my Carson shortie Frye boots - now I think these Dorado's will be my favorite)

These boots are beautiful, but they hit mid-knee and push up on my knee cap when I walk (I am 5' 6''). I need to return them for this reason, but they would be perfect if they were half an inch shorter or so. I disagree with comments that these boots run small, I found them to be true to size, they just hit at an awkward spot on the knee.
