Having previously purchased Stuart Weitzman and found them to be wonderfully comfortable I was massively disappointed to find these gorgeous classic shoes would not fit. The length was fine but the toe area is far too narrow, with the next size too big in length. Stuart's shoes should NOT require inserts to make them fit. He is a master shoemaker and you could count on them fitting beautifully first time but something has occurred with his design in this shoe, certainly not for the better.

I was disappointed that this shoe pinched on one area of one foot so that I was unable to keep it. However, it is a beautiful shoe, and someone without my feet issues would love it. The heel ended up being a little too much for me; I thought the platform part would offset more of the heel height. Overall, I returned this shoe because of my inability to wear the shoe rather than the shoe being at fault.

I have been searching for a classic, black pump and was so encouraged to have found these online. Stuart Weitzman shoes usually don't disappoint, but unfortunately, these do. I have repeatedly tried them on, walked around the house in them, tried various shoe/heel inserts, back to no inserts, and my frustration continues! The heel slips! I have never had that be an issue for me and after reading other reviews am concluding that something is just off in the styling of this shoe. (I would also agree that the shoe pictured online appears to have a lower heel height of the actual shoe.)
I do not feel that with a Stuart Weitzman shoe, I should have to be "doctoring the shoe" to try to get it to fit. Back to the store they go, my search continues, and I hope I eventually find a nice, classic, comfortable black pump.
I would agree with the review stating that attention be paid to heel height. The heels shown on so many shoes are ridiculously high, not good for one's feet, and not practical for walking or standing in (especially for a long period of time). There is a market for beautifully made, decent height, comfortable dress shoes. Now there's a challenge for shoe designers!

Usually love Stuart Weitzman shoes but will be returning these. Ordered 91/2 M but the shoe was very tight and narrow. Went in to store to try on 10 but my heel lifted out as I walked, too long.
