I wanted so badly to love these shoes. I tried them on in the brand's official store and knew I had to have them. They fit perfectly, they were the perfect height, immaculate quality...when I saw them for significantly less here on Nordstrom.com, I snapped them up quickly. Unfortunately, the shoes I received did not live up to my standards. First, the sole was a different color, and slick, not like the shoe I tried on in the store. I was willing to overlook this--after all, I bought these for quality and utility. I reasoned that no one would be looking at the bottoms of my shoes. Second, though the fit was good, it wasn't the same as what I had tried on in the store. I took the shoes out for a test run by wearing them inside the mall. Within three hours, I had a hot spot on the back of one heel. That alone was enough to make me want to return them, but the final straw was when I had a look at the bottoms of the shoes after about five hours of reasonably gentle wear (plenty of walking, but indoors on the tiled surfaces in the mall, a very short amount of walking on concrete sidewalk to get into the mall). The color had worn off in places, and the soles had become pitted. I promise, I was not hard on these shoes. I expect far better quality from a $200-plus shoe, so sadly, I had to return them. Thank you to Nordstrom for your excellent customer service and generous return policy. I will remain a loyal customer.

i normally wear 6.5 to 7 shoes. these were 7 and i couldn't squeeze my feet into them. they were really cute though. sad they didn't fit. the nude color was pretty.

i have dozens of stus, all in a 6medium. so i naturally ordered the same size in these in both black and aniline, and both were very small and narrow. it appears from other reviews the sizing on these is very inconsistent, which is unfortunate, because they are a great basic shoe, if you can find one that fits!!
