I purchased these because I loved the color combo (versatile), this is my favorite brand of shoe, and I'm six months pregnant and needed something that would "give" as my foot potentially expands. These flats are worth the splurge (I usually wait for SW to go on sale!) if you're looking for a ultra comfortable, super chic flat. The inside of the sole is actually suede, so you feel like you're walking on nothing and your foot never sticks to the bottom of the shoe. I agree with a previous review that when you walk, the heel gives you almost feel like your foot may slip out of the shoe, but it never does. That's the reason for the 4 instead of 5 star review. But it's a very small inconvenience! I hope they carry me the entire 9 months. Props to SW for making such great shoes!
