I bought this dress for my daughter's first communion. It is lovely. It fits her perfectly but what you need to know is that she is a very tall 8 yo and I ordered the 8 bc 10 was sold out. Well the 8 is perfect for her so I would recommend sizing down. The train does bustle, making it extra nice.

I finally received this dress after it had been on backorder since the end of February. It is beautiful, and I would have used it for my daughter's first communion, but it arrived too late. I was afraid it wouldn't be white enough for first communion but it would have worked. The dress is a slight off-white and had a beautiful train that could be bustled. The length was just right for my daughter, who's about 4'0 tall, it just skimmed the floor. It would have definitely worked as a special occasion dress. I had a hard time returning this one but I don't need two communion dresses, unfortunately. :(

This dress is pricey but it is a beautiful gown and with a little creativity I was able to get more for my money and improve the style. The flower on the back of the dress is actually an optional pin. I cut the shoestring like ribbon off, removed the pin and put it on a headband instead. It made a beautiful and expensive looking headpiece for my daughter. I also took a seam ripper to the bow on the front. I thought it was too stuffy looking for such a whimsical gown. We got so many compliments on it at the wedding she wore it to. I plan to have it hemmed so she can wear it again for the holidays maybe with gold shoes and a gold sweater.

This is a beautiful dress. I bought it for my 5-year old daughter who will be a flower girl. I agree with another reviewer who said the pictures do not do the dress justice. It is much more beautiful and stunning in person. The train in the back of the dress is so pretty and I love the fact that it can be bustled as well. Based on other reviews, I bought a size down and bought a size 4. It is roomy in the body but still looks fine, so I don't plan to make any alterations. The length is slightly short, about 1.25 inch from floor-length, which is fine with me because I worry she will trip if it was longer. It is a very beautiful, elegant dress for a little girl. I am very happy with my purchase.
