I ordered the purple dress and the color in the photo is much lighter than the dress I received. My purple dress was more like a very dark eggplant purple that almost looked black. It's a beautiful dress, but you cannot see the lovely details because the color is so dark. I ordered it for a summer formal event that will have dim lighting and wanted to have the bright purple color to show up. Returning it, sadly.

I'm sad to say that this dress did not work out. I fell in love with the picture & was eagerly awaiting its arrival. Unfortunately, the true color of the dress is dark purple, not the orchid color pictured. Also, the dress runs small. I am a consistent size 4 across many brands (including another style of Dalia Mcphee dress I bought to replace this dress) but this one was uncomfortably tight, and also long.

I love the dress style and the color is so beautiful, but it runs a size too large. I'm 5'7 and 150lbs., and the dress was big in the chest and waist. One of the gowns has stays and the edges are rough (they stab my ribs). I ordered 3 Dalia MacPhee gowns and they all ran big and all are being return. I will not order another McPhee dress.

I bought this dress in a size 2 purple for prom. At first I didnt like it but after my parents insisted that they liked it, i began to fall in love with it. i'm very short at 5'1 and even with 4 inch heels i still needed it to be hemmed 4 inches, but otherwise, it is a gorgeous dress.
