The dress was elegant, the color was beautiful, I ordered a size 12, due to the fact I wear a 36DD bra. When I tried on the dress the front part of the bust area was a lttile too stiff so it didn't conform around the bust that I would have liked to. You could still see inside the top whether I wore a bra or not. I would have tried going to a size 10, but there were no more sizes in purple.

I ordered this dress for my daughter's wedding.I am 54yr.old,petite 5'4,the average MOB dresses are so frumpy.This is an updated gown & rich color.I wish this designer made more styles.

I actually purchased this in Royal Blue, which in my opinion is more like a cobalt. I am planning on using this for prom. I am between 5'2/5'3 and wore 2.5 inch heels when I tried this on. With the heels, the length just swept the floor perfectly (no alterations needed.. I might've even liked it if it were half an inch longer). I am around 32A/B and weigh around 106lbs. I am rather petite. This dress was the FIRST dress I've tried on that has fit to size. I bought a size 0 and it fit like a glove. The only thing was the bust was a tad too large, nothing a push-up/ padded bra couldn't handle for me. The material is soft, polyester, not the most expensive feeling but well worth what I paid. This model doesn't do the dress justice at all. I prefer that it touches the floor, like it does on me and I'm excited to wear it to prom, come June. (Might I add the the color is very bright and youthful)
P.s. a little girl came up to me in the dressing room and said I could be on tv, I thought it was so sweet!

I adore this dress. The fabric is incredibly soft and the fine pleats are floaty and skim the silhoutte whilst flattering any shape issues - the overall effect is very slimming.
I am an Australian size 10, 5'7" and weight 60Kg (about 132 lbs) and wear a 12DD bra (34DD - measure about 39 inches around fullest part) and the size 8 was slightly too big in the rib cage/waist, but way too big in the bra part. As this is finely pleated alteration is very difficult. I have ordered a size 6 and I am hoping it will zip up at the waist and solve the bra size problem.
The biggest challenge shopping on line is the inability to 'try it on' and the measurement chart really doesn't tell the whole story because my measurements suggest I should by a US 10 or 12 and I am down to a 6 and paying freight in both directions because its an international order.
Hope this sizing info helps someone else as this is a truly beautiful dress that looks and feels far more expensive than it is.
