I was so excited to receive this dress and wear it for my wedding this summer. I wear 10-12 so I ordered a 12. When it arrived, it was so small I couldn't zip it up. I exchanged it for a 14, really wanted a 16 but doesn't come any larger than a 14. I can zip it up but it's uncomfortably tight and I will have to send it back for a refund. It's very disappointing because this is an absolutely beautiful dress.

I got the dress for my son's wedding and my decision was based largely on the reviews I read, but I also liked the way it looked on the picture. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed when it arrived. The color was darker (not the warm, light beige) than on the picture, the size "0" I ordered was larger than I would expect, and the fabric was quite heavy. I am glad that I ordered another Sue Wong's dress (Beaded soutache sheath dress), which is not only much better fitting, cuter, but was also on sale! :-)

I tried on so many dresses for a black tie wedding I'll be going to in the spring. I'm short and curvy, so my choices are limited. This dress is a size 6 fits beautifully and is lovely. The detailing of the embellishments and the soutache work are well executed while the lines of the dress are elegantly simple. The V neckline is perfect, low enough to be interesting, high enough for modesty. I'm sure I will wear this for years to come.

I was going to purchase this for a special guest of the wedding (my fiance's daughter is getting married). I had it ordered in, and tried it on. Very matronly in my opinion. I am 39 with no children and like to think of myself as staying in fashion, but this dress is definitely for an older, more conservative crowd. I ordered a 2 and a 4 (I usually wear a 2) and the 2 still felt too big. It has a lot of 'give' in it too. Pretty dress, just not for the younger crowd I'd say.
