Prosversatile
Had to buy this coat when I saw it on my coworker. I tried her medium although it fit I decided to go up a size and order a large and it fit perfect. I am anywhere between an 8-10. Love the vents in the back and of course the Burberry signature plaid. Can't wait for the season to change to wear it and can wear dresses up or casual.

Pale Fawn
PostedJune 18, 2016
I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this jacket in Pale Fawn. A majority of customers stated that this jacket was too tight in their normal size. I decided to go up from an extra small to a small. I'm 5'1 with a small bust and waist. The fit was comfortable meaning not tight but not too relaxed, either. The color is a soft combination of pale gold with a hint of khaki. The lining is the normal Burberry pattern. I got mine to wear during the Spring and very early Autumn. This jacket is not insulated therefore it won't keep you warm during colder temperatures. Quilted cotton tends to fade easily so I wash mine once a season in cold water to keep the color in tact and I hang it to dry to prevent shrinking.

Snug and too short

I now understand why people roll up sleeves in this jacket. They buy larger size than they normally wear because the jacket itself is so stiff in the armpits that it is hard to move your hands. Shoulders, chest are fine.
I own a few jackets and coats from Burberry. I noticed that in Burberry London I always take size 4 (my normal size 2) and in Burberry Brit it is usually size 2 or XS. The only exception is Burberry puffers where I also need to go up to a 4.
It turned out that in this particular quilted jacket, I should have ordered a 4 as well...What a waste of time waiting all week for the order to arrive.
I would order this jacket in some other interesting color such as berry or red. Black does not look special at all.
