It's supposed to be for all skin tones, but it really makes your skin white. I think a little goes a long way. So use sparingly. But it is basically a nice setting powder.

I haven't always used translucent powder for over the years it's become my favorite! I can use it all year long regardless of how tan or pale my skin is over the seasons. This powder works great, easy to apply and I'll definitely order this again!
I normally use a slightly tinted Cover FX setting powder, but I wanted to try something new. Laura Mercier powder is extremely fine and drying. After applying the powder I looked pale and older. It settled in my creases and was so fine that it irritated my throat. This setting powder may be great for oily skin.
