They are extremely comfortable and very flattering. I bought a size that was smaller than I have been buying in recent months because they stretch a bit. This is my second pair of these very same jeans.

I love the way these snug up the belly & and yet give the waist area room. Comfortbly breathable. I feel "Good Lookin" when I wear them. Whatever your body type, enhance the good parts...that's what these jeans do. The fabric is the best, it doesn't FADE. Stays a rich black color....this is so important to me.

I bought two pairs of "Hayden" jeans on the same day. The black pair was a stiff, heavy, substantial fabric. The tan pair was very lightweight. The prior reviews did a great job of warning me of the variability, but otherwise I would have been unhappily surprised. The black pair is true to fit of other NYDJ pants I've bought, the tans are a little tighter right out of the box. I'm keeping them both, since the tan pair is a great weight for summer.

I've worn many NYDJ jeans and in the past have worn a size 6. Size 4 now fits the way size 6 used to. I really wish the clothing manufacturers would quit doing this! However, once you figure it out, it is OK at least until they change things again. This style fits much better through the thighs for me...not much excess space. The bootcut jeans (same manufacturer and size) were too roomy.
