I was looking for a new exfoliator and after reading the reviews, I decided to try this one. I am so glad that I did. The consistency is perfect. It isn't too harsh, but is just "rough" enough that I feel like it is actually polishing my skin. I have tried others where the granules are too big or too soft. I think this one is perfect.
Exfoliator is hard to review because it's one product that's pretty subjective...some like it gentle, some like it rough! I myself, like a rougher exfoliator...my skin tolerates it fine and I know the jobs getting done. This Laura Mercier exfoliator is one of the best in my hunt so far! I don't like when there's round soft beads in a super jelly like serum. This is not that for sure and I love it! It will last forever too because you definitely don't need more than a dime size.
This product is the perfect balance of exfoliating and creamy soft polish. I have fair, sensitive skin so I just use it once a week or before using a little self tanner on my face (love Shisedo daily bronze) I have been using it for over a year. You will definitely notice a difference in how smooth your skin looks and feels......makeup and highlighters look even better on a smooth canvas.
