I got a sample of this with one of my beauty purchases. I don't use a lot of Laura Mercier products and am not too familiar with the brand, but I have to say that I really like this scrub. It has just the right amount of grit for exfoliation without being harsh. I use a scrub nearly every day and I had been using Lancer The Polish, which I very much like. However, its recently gone up in price and I was looking for something to use on alternating days as it can be a bit harsh. This will do the trick. To give you some perspective: the grains of this product are smaller and less gritty than Lancer the Polish, but larger than Philosophy's Microdelivery exfoliating wash. It has more grains than Clinique's 7 day scrub cream. I have used all of these products, and they all work fine, but the size and quantity of the grit in this particular scrub works best for my skin type (normal or combination).

Prosgentle, exfoliating, a real necessity, for me!
I would be lost without this face polish. I use it every time I take a shower and my face feels fabulous. I'm always afraid I'm going to run out and not have a spare tube handy. It makes your face feel wonderful and not the least bit drying. I only have a few products that I use over and over again and this is one of them.
