Prosintensive, perfect
I had permanent makeup applied to my lips (in other words, tattoo) several years ago and they are perpetually dry. It seems like I spend half my life trying lip balms and this is the FIRST one to work. It is an excellent product and soften my lips for hours (rather than "minutes," which is usually the case). To the individuals who had trouble getting the product out of the tube, you just have to squeeze hard. This aspect is actually an asset - it means the product just comes out a little at a time and isn't wasted (and at this price, you don't want waste!).

Prosintensive, long-lasting, thick, moisturizing
I've given this two weeks, and it kills me to admit I love this product. It kills me to admit I haven't found a common sense less pricey way to so wonderfully moisturize and heal my lips. I have had chapped lips most of my life and have figured out I needed exfoliation and moisturizing. I loved Neutrogena Ageless Intensive Lip Treatment, which did both jobs, but was discontinued. I haven't found the product yet that does both. But this is the best moisturizer -- I put it on at night and, when I think of it, in the morning, and my lips are healed and soft. I know that alone stops feathering, and the lip area needs this kind of moisture that stays put. Cons: texture is nearly like candle wax. I have to warm it on fingers and rub before application. The tube is ridiculous. I have had to enlarge the opening to get anything out -- double the size of the opening when you get it and you're good to go.

I bought this after watching the brief demo on lip care. When I recieved it, I couldn't get the product out of the tube. I had to resort to a Xacto knife and surgery. Even then the texture seems very thick. I am not sure I got a good sample, but I will try anyway.

This does a good job at moisturizing dry lips but I am not sure that the price is justified. I like that it seems to stay put and does not slip around like most lip treatments. However, it does have a chemical smell that is a little off putting.
