Great SPF moisturizer

Prosnon-greasy, lightweight, absorbs easily
A sales consultant in the store originally recommended this product to me- I was looking for a daily moisturizer with sunscreen, and have been using the day moisturizing cream from Shiseido. One of the things that he mentioned is that most moisturizers contain sunscreen that stop working after a few hours, so unless you plan to reapply, it's important that you look for something more substantial. This is a "physical" sunscreen, containing titanium dioxide, which means that you have instant protection from a physical barrier, as opposed to a "chemical" sunscreen, which takes 20-30 min before it works. Yes, all sunscreens need to be reapplied, but this is a nice, colorless moisturizing lotion with broad spectrum SPF. I believe it comes in tinted shades as well, although I haven't tried them. This isn't greasy, or thick like most sunscreens.

Proslightweight, non-greasy, absorbs easily
I used to use Shiseido sunscreen, and I didn't like any of them because they made my face feel heavy and I had break-out. Until I found this one, I fell in love with it. I always have one in my purse. It's very light; you feel nothing after you put it on. Love it.
I've yet to find a moisturizer with SPF 40 or higher that's any good. They're generally oily and greasy, and made me feel completely unattractive. This SPF is fantastic for a multitude of reasons. First, you can wear it alone or over your favorite moisturizer. When I'm in high humidity like NYC during the summer, I wear this on its own. In colder weather I wear this over my usual moisturizer and it works like a charm. It's non scented and lightweight, making it ideal to use in any situation.
The bottle design is brilliant in its simplicity. The tapered tip controls the flow of the lotion, and prevents excess from pouring out all over the place. No wasted product or mess! When you shake the bottle before use, you can hear the ball/mixing mechanism to ensure the lotion is properly mixed prior to application. Love this! I've been using this for years, and can't imagine ever being without it.
I live in an very sunny, hot desert climate and so have tried many sunscreens over the years. I keep coming back to this Clarins sunscreen for everyday use because it works well, isn't greasy or heavy, and goes on very smoothly without the chalkiness that some people complain about with mineral sunscreens. It also has never irritated my skin as some other facial sunscreens have done. I don't think it would be long-lasting enough for someone who is outdoors swimming or playing sports all day, but for wearing under makeup and non-sporty activities, it is very effective. My face has very little sun damage and I'm nearly 60! Oh - and the price is not bad either for this quality and quantity.
