Pros: - All products, when used together, work very well to get a good, close shave. - Leaves skin moist and soft - Don't need to use a lot of cream. Badger brush foams it up very well. - Lavender smells great
Cons: - Oil runs out first and is pricey to replace individually - A bit bulky to take on vacations. They sell a travel package, but I don't see a need to have 1.5 sets of this.
Love the kit! It is all inclusive! The fragrance is outstanding!

Prosthe best system
Best system ever created! There is no other way to shave and the lavender kit is my favorite. I've use this for 15 years and there is no other system that treats my face so kindly.

Excellent starting kit

Prosnecessary, indulgent
Im new to wet shaving and this was the first kit I purchased to get my feet wet. It's been several months and I have experimented with many options and feel more comfortable giving a valid opinion. I like the kit for starting out because it includes the pure badger brush. It's a good quality brush for starting that can be moved to a travel kit if upgraded later. The scent is not overpowering in any of the three products. I don't care for cologne or strong perfumes and this was perfect. I have sensitive skin and was recommended the lavender. I have found that it didn't really matter which scent was used - the pre-oil combined with the lotion at the end never left my skin feeling dry or irritated. The shaving cream whips up very easily with the brush. A couple times I didn't bring my brush while traveling and had to use my hands. Not the same creaminess but it did lather up well enough in a pinch. I would highly recommend this product.
