Seriously impressed with this kit

First of all, when I opened up this kit, it was packaged like a present. Just on presentation alone, this would make a great gift for someone. But when I set everything out I knew I was about to embark on something special. The badger bristle brush is my favorite! It is so soft and is a nice touch to the shaving set. I wasn't sure why I needed a "pre-shave" oil until I got ready to use the shaving cream. The oil is to prep your skin so that the cream doesn't stick to your skin. Together they work very well! I am convinced that I got the closest shave I've ever gotten in my life - short of going to the barber! I can't stop feeling how smooth my skin is and neither can my wife! Bonus! Also the after shave balm gives my scalp a nice glow. Yes, I used this shaving kit on my head as well as my face. I really liked it. My wife even enjoyed helping me shave. The only thing I need now to complete the experience is a straight razor!

I have used this product a few times now and I have to say it works great it left my skin feeling great and I had a very clean shave. I would definitely recommend this product. I received this product for free to try from the art of shaving and I will purchase it as soon as I run out of the product.

I got the kit 2 days ago and I used it the next day and it was a simple 4 step system and it was the best shave I have ever had. I really love the brush and the shaving cream the best, over the years I have tried many of the can creams and none of the even come close. this was the first time I have ever tried a brush to apply the cream and it felt great against my skin. I have very sensitive skin on my neck and after going through all the steps not one bit of irritation. I will be happy to recommend this to all my friends. Thank you for them for putting out such a truly great product.

A Smooth Shave is In Fact an Art Form

I've been using an electric razor for years now. So when I received The Art of Shaving Full Kit from The Art of Shaving(r), I wasn't sure if it would be completely worthwhile (especially since "full kit" doesn't include the most crucial piece, the razor). But I got myself a fresh blade, opened up the kit and first marveled at the quantity. There is probably enough oil, cream and balm to last a good year and the brush is a big bonus. And fortunately since I've been out of practice with manual shaving, they also included an instruction manual with handy tips and proper shave techniques. I prepped, lathered, shaved, repeated and was very pleased with the results. The whole shaving process took about 15 minutes. And now my wife looks forward to when I have to shave so she can rub up against my cheeks. I will say this though, as someone whose daily routine has been based on the electric razor, using The Art of Shaving Full Kit for proper results does take time to perform a good job. But if you have the time, and want to pamper yourself, then this is definitely the way to go.
