When I first saw the campaign, I was intrigued, but didn't really expect the process to create much of a difference in the end product. Was I wrong.
I had never had a barber shop shave before, but plenty of experience of keeping a clean look, as I work as a Funeral Director. I shave my head and face daily, so I have plenty of experience in the shaving arena.
What I had no experience with is the 4 step process that the "Art of Shaving" takes you through. I've never applied an oil prior, nor used a Badger haired shaving brush. Both were new experiences, and I think added to a good experience and overall a better shave in the end.

Old School Shaving

Art Of Shaving Unscented is the new best thing. I love that it is bringing old school back. It leaves you skin smooth and soft. Feels refreshing when using all 3 products. It would make the perfect Fathers Day gift. They only thing missing is a straight razor to experience the true old school. Great product thanks Art Of Shaving.

I am very sensitive in my shaving area to fragrance. I also do get a lot of cuts around my corners. Until I got the unscented kit. Do yourself a favor and at the very least get the fine brush. It feels so much better on your face. The after shave can be a little thicker but does the job. I am very impressed with the oil. To use an oil before my shave has drastically improved the glide and limited my nicks and cuts.

Best Shave Ever!

ProsSmells Good, Softens Skin, Lessens Irritation, Improves Shaving, saves time
I normally don't do reviews but after trying this product at the advise of my barber, I felt compelled to do so. I am an african american male, who has suffered for years with ingrown hairs, skin irritation and trying countless shaving regimens. No More! I purchased this product, followed the steps and was completely blown away by the results. No razor burn, no ingrown hairs, nothing but a smooth clean shave. So, too all my brotha's out there looking for a new shaving solution, this is it!
