After you use this system once you can't go back to just using regular shaving cream. The oil and brush make a HUGE difference and then there's the cream and after shave balm. I don't have anymore skin irritation and I always have a close, smooth shave. My wife appreciates the smoothness most of all if you know what I mean. Bow-chica-wowow!

I bought this product because my Gillette shaving equipment was not doing too well for me.
My shaves weren't close, and they irritated my skin, which caused me to break out frequently. It sucked, and I was sick of it.
I decided to do some research on more legitimate shaving techniques and kits, and I found the Art of Shaving.
The whole process (which is very easy to follow) gives me a closer shave and reduces my breakouts after shaving. Actually, shaving with The 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave reduces my breakouts overall and makes my skin feel great! The kit comes with a pre-shave oil, a badger-hair brush, shave cream and an after-shave moisturizer. They all do exactly as they're supposed to, and the supplies last for a very long time, even for their high price.
My skin used to be extremely sensitive after shaving, but now it feels great to touch! The moisturizing lotion also does a good job. I got the unscented pack so my skin would not get as irritated. There is some scent overall, but I find it very nice and soothing.
I'm a poor college student and I wish I had the money to buy the razor to go with it, too. I'm sold on The Art of Shaving. I recommend it to my friends, but they think I'm crazy for spending so much on "some shaving kit."
It's not just some shaving kit, it's THE shaving kit. It's changed the way I shave and feel about shaving, and I love it.
Buy it, you won't regret it.

I was skeptical that this dramatically more expensive product could really help with shaving. I had been using electric shavers for years but was never happy with the results. So, I had recently switched back to a wet shave and was cutting my face all over the place. I switched to this product on my wife's urging and I have to say that the shave is incredible, very close just what I was looking for. Using the same razor I stopped cutting my face and my skin is in much better shape. Well worth the expense and I'll never go back.

This product is more like a 10+. I have never had a better shave and I have to use a min amount of shave cream. I am now sold on higher end products and have ordered from your other line of products.
