The pre-shave oil and shaving cream work really well together to give a very close shave and the shaving brush helps to lather and exfoliate so that you minimize your chances of getting ingrown hairs. The after shave balm also really helps calm down the area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years, The Art of Shaving has been a foolproof gift option for all the hard-to-shop-for guys. This year, I embraced the shaving ritual myself and can't tell you how rewarding the 3-step system is. Since I don't like my fragrance (or deodorant) to clash with some heavily scented shaving and after shave formulas, I was thrilled with the unscented kit. You can, but don' have to, start with the pre-shave oil, move on to the shaving cream (absolutely fantastic) and finish with the after shave balm for additional skincare benefits. Some mornings, I just grab the shaving cream because it's definitely my favorite part of the kit. It softens facial hair in seconds and helps achieve the closest shave possible. Not to mention, it leave my skin feeling nourished and insanely soft to the touch. Highly recommend this to all who dread the chore of shaving because The Art of Shaving transforms the simple task to a rewarding self-care moment.
