This is an awesome kit that gives you everything you need to get started and will probably last you at least a year (depending how often you shave). The shaving oil is probably the best, it allows to have a close shave with less irritation. I am able to get a much closer shave using the art of shaving that I can usually get away with shaving every other day. Also greatly reduces irritation and allows you to shave against the grain without much irritation.

I have a particularly heavy beard, would get razor burn and irritaion no matter if I used electric or safety razor. Since using the Art os Shaving system, all of my shaving problems have disappeared. Now, just a great shave!

I grew up shaving with just a razor and a cheap can of shaving cream so I couldn't figure out why someone would spend so much money on the act of shaving. So, I was a bit reluctant to spend the money on a shave kit that included things like pre-oil and a Badger Brush. I had been having trouble with razor burn and decided to give this a go. I never knew that shaving could be such an enjoyable experience. My skin feels softer and smoother and I no longer have razor burn. This is worth every penny and I will keep using their products for the long haul.
