Best Shave Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate shaving for a few reasons, it's boring is at the top of the list. The Art of Shaving has changed my mind. The four part ritual makes the most mundane thing that men do into something rather nice. This would be a great gift for Father's Day.

Slick and Sophisticated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The full size kit contains everything you need for your shave except the razor. The pre-shave oil, shaving cream, shaving brush and after shave balm are all included. This type of kit allows a person to keep their preferred razor blade but enjoy all of the different shave products needed to actually shave. That fact makes it a great gift.
For those not familiar with a shaving brushing or not maybe not even anything more than just using plain shaving cream during a shave, the use of a suite of these types of products makes for a much more enjoyable shave. Especially if you have coarse beard hair or just want to enjoy a smoother, more comfortable shave. Honestly, you can't really pamper yourself shaving, but you can make it less of a pain.
The actual packaging of the items looks amazing and worthy of the price tag. After slipping the packaging sleeve off, the box folds open to show two products on each side. There were definitely no shortcuts on packaging or displaying the items. The only drawback was the glue they used to stick the items into their respective slots was a bit too strong. I was able to pull everything out eventually except for the brush. For the brush, I had to pull the slot out and then push the brush out from behind.

Wow, what a great shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit is the real deal. Never heard of it. Never used it. Totally sold now. At first I thought it was a lot of steps for a shave, but tried it and I'm convinced I've been doing it wrong all these years. Gives me a close shave and keeps my face soft, I love it.

The Art of Shaving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with my first take on the Art of Shaving kit- nicely packaged, boutique like containers. I thought whoa this is a bit too much pampering for me. After reading the instructions and how they suggested using the line of products I thought, wow there really is an art to this. And I realized my 20 year old shaving technique was actually wrong. With each step I really felt more and more like I was having a professional shave for the first time. So now that I've tried it on my face, my bald head is the next contestant. I'm looking forward to it too.
