Amazing Product

When this product arrived you can tell it was an upscale product it made me feel good to get the chance to try it.
The brush is well made and was soft on my face and chest the oil you use after the shave left my face feeling baby smooth.
I received the unscented version and when I buy this product in the future I will try some of the scented ones The Art of Shaving makes!

A Nice Clean Shave with the Art of Shaving Full Size Kit

I really enjoyed the Art of Shaving Full Size Kit. I have never used a kit like this before and was interested in seeing how close of a shave I could get with the different products. The products are nicely packaged. I had never used a shaving brush and was excited to see this in my kit. The best part was that the kit had instructions on what I needed to do in order to use the shaving products. While this may seem like a silly thing, it is nice for someone who is new to shaving with a shaving kit and shaving brush. The products were nice, not to overwhelming, and left me with a nice smooth shave. I now am enjoying the process of shaving, as I feel like it is an indulgence in my morning routine.

The Art of Shaving

I was surprised when I received my bzz kit to see that it was multiple products that were all full size and in a extremely nice and sturdy gift box. I would have like to have tried the scented version instead of the unscented but in either case I could still appreciate the high quality of the product regardless of the smell. I enjoyed each of the four products and only have minor adjustment suggestions. The pre-shave oil, in my opinion needed to have a pump only for convenience. It wasn't hard to get out but would be much easier and less messy if it pumped out. Perhaps it would stop unnecessary waste of the product as well. The shaving cream was great. The brush was even better; very sturdy and soft at the same time. It would have been nice to receive (or if I actually had) a shaving cup to put the cream in; one in which the brush fit perfectly like at the barber shop so you could really get the cream on the brush. The after shave balm wasn't to greasy as I have experienced with other brands. It was moisturizing as well. If I had to choose which of the three I wanted to be scented it would have been this balm. Overall, the kit was great and I would purchase it again and even as a gift for someone close to me. The brush is something that will probably last me the rest of my life. Everything was of utmost quality and you could tell right off the bat. However, I wouldn't know where to purchase this product. I have never heard of it before bzz agent. Nor have I seen advertisements etc. for the product. Thank you for letting me try.

back to better shaving

To preface, I hate shaving. I mean hate it. Over the years I've tried all the crazy vibrating 5 blade ludricating jellstrip super razers and the hydro-jell for sensitive skin shaving creams. Still hated shaving. Always felt like I'd sanded my face and missed spots. Until I got my Art of Shaving kit. The kit is packaged very nicely,. No gaudy flash, just refined ans entirely masculine. The impression was like stepping back in time. I remembered my Granbbad's shaving brush and cup, aftershave balm in the milkglass bottle and his shiny chrome safety razer. That's some good nostalgia right there. Remembered wanting so bad to be grown and shave like Dad and PopThe products them selves, I used in order and according to directions. Hot face wash, oil, lather, shave, pat dry and balm. The most comfortable and closest shave I've had in ages. I was utterly taken aback. A shave that not only wasn't a miserable necessity, but a pleasant even enjoyable shave. Who knew? My wife loved it too. She kept rubbing my cheek and telling me how nice it was. Who can complain about that?
