Will never use anything else

I love everything about the art of shaving. I have been using it everyday since I got my kit in. My skin is pretty sensitive and I usually have a reaction to the nickel in the razor blade. I have tried all kinds of different products over the years and was a bit skeptical at first. So, I thought what is one more product to try, but with The Art of Shaving I haven't had a single breakout. I actually threw away all.my old stuff I had been using and won't use anything else. Even though it says unscented, it does have a slight smell to it but I really like it. It's not overpowering like others and the wife likes it to. I used to hate shaving but now I do it everyday. I'm definitely going to be a customer for life on this one.

What a great shave!

So, first of- I can't believe the value of this kit that i received from BzzzKit for FREE! I have been using an electric razor for the past, oh, probably 5 years. I have very sensitive skin, and razors tend to cause little bumps and cuts, even small bruises on my skin. However, my girlfriend likes the closeness of a razor shave, and when I was offered this kit, I couldn't say no! I went out and bought a nice new razor, and set aside some precious time to get down to business. Simply put, this kit is luxurious and wonderful, leaving me with a close shave, soft skin, and none of the ugly side effects. The pre-shave oil made my skin lubricated and feel smooth and nice. The lather is thick, not goopy, but soft on my skin. The badger brush, which I had never used before, made me feel like I live a bit more a luxurious life than I do( I only see these in the movies, but I really enjoyed it!) It was also really fun to use and I felt like the lather went on evenly and thick enough to prevent cuts but also get a smooth shave. The after shave balm calmed my skin down and I think it definitely reduced my bumps to a minimum. All in all, this kit is well worth the money, and I can't believe I got it all for free!

A converted skeptic

When I received my kit from The Art of Shaving I will admit that my initial thoughts were not favorable to the idea of switching from my electric shaver to a manual razor. I was happy for many years with my electric, or so I thought I was.
The issue I've had with manual shavers is that I've always thought they weren't smooth enough on my skin and so I preferred electric to keep things dry. Well, with the oil to start and the shaving cream mixing in, I felt a very smooth feeling on my skin. I was very impressed. The whole shaving experience only took a few minutes as well. Something I had thought would take "much longer" than my electric did not, another concern dashed.
Lastly, I noticed that the closeness of the shave was incomparable, The Art of Shaving experience gave a closeness I haven't been accustomed to. I even noticed that my neck hairs didn't pull on my shirt simply because they weren't long enough to catch!
Bottom line, I'm a convert! Thank you The Art of Shaving!

I am amazed at how good the preshave oil works. i can feel the difference. I love this close shave that i am getting. The whole kit is well worth it. and everytime i shave i feel so cool when i use the brush on my face, old school style.
